Providence Knob Baptist Church Music Minister/Director Job Description:



This job description outlines the salary and other benefits/requirements between PKBC and the Music Minister/Director. The Music Minister/Director shall abide by the church by-laws. The Music Minister/Director shall become an active member of Providence Knob Baptist Church.



Requirements:


Sunday morning Bible Study hour and Worship Service. Wednesday evening service. All special events to include practices (i.e., Fifth Sunday Singing, Fall Festival, Trunk or Treat etc.).


Salary and Benefits:


Salary will be commensurate to qualifications. PKBC does not withhold taxes.

Two-week paid vacation consists of 2 Sundays and 2 Wednesday evenings.

Up to 4 additional days may be taken with approval by Pastor with sufficient notice.


Job Expectations:


Plans and Prepares song list for weekly bulletin and musicians by Wednesday evening 6pm.

Special music shall be scheduled and approved by Music Minister/Director.

Music Minister/Director shall prepare music with choir for 5th Sunday Singings, Christmas, Easter and special music events.

Music Minister/Director to schedule choir practice.

Preparation and practice is expected.

All pre-recorded songs should be tested on the sound system prior to Sunday morning to ensure volume, compatibility and familiarity with the arrangement.

All lyric slides, song choices, media choices and audio or video presentations shall be coordinated in advance with the audio/visual team.

Music Minister/Director may choose any mixture of musician accompaniment, iWorship media, licensed electronic media or a cappella.

Music Minister/Director shall obtain streaming license for any electronic media prior to broadcasting it.
